As you can imagine you only get one shot when decorating a cake so I made a dummy cake just to get an idea of what the final cake would look like and approximately how many flowers I'd need.

Some cakes dont give you any grief...... This one gave me sleepless nights!!!!

I panicked that the original cake would not survive the journey so I made a back up!!!!

I must have made about 60 alstroemerias! With 6 petals each! not to mention all the other flowers

I was so worried Lianne would not be happy. It was not easy to do a cake for her as the communication was shocking. I do really hope she loved it...

To Guy and Lianne may you have a long and happy journey together

Zanders 5th Birthday

The dressing up theme was "you favorite dressing up out fit. Naturally all the girls came as princesses!!! Sooo precious!

After all the little kids went home we turned the slide to go into the pool!

Boy oh boy did they have a ball!!! Its the contrast between Zanders and Guys face that cracks me up!!

Mel arrived all dressed up. Zander was just climbing out the pool when Mel said Hi and he got such a fright he fell back in!!

Nana got it in her head to do a strip show for Erics birthday!

Don't panic this is as far as they both went! All they did was dance around and take off their capes.

Baker Man

Every friday one of the kids in Zanders class gets to be Baker man. Zander has not been baker man yet so I thought I had a bit of making up to do.

Each kid got a kit box like this.

The kids had a ball! The cakes caused soooooo much excitement through out the school!

Zander insisted I gave him black icing!!!
